Maes in the classical era! Universal and A&R Studios are launching the concept of Pianorap. To inaugurate this first edition, Maes is accompanied on the piano by Zoen, a neo-classical composer and performer (an influencer on TikTok). For this performance, Maes interpreted “Frank Lucas”, a song from his latest album “Omerta”, and “Billets Verts”, taken from his first album “Pure”.

The song “Billets Verts”, with its instrumental production originally done by Double X, is particularly melodious. During the time of “Pure”, Maes favored songs with a somewhat slower tempo and occasionally a bit atmospheric.
This is an exceptional performance for Maes, stepping out of his comfort zone. Universal and A&R Studios are thus launching a concept that reintroduces rap from the urban neighborhoods into classical concert halls.
